Jeremy Benjamin is a Canadian Singer-Songwriter whose work blends elements of folk, pop, country and gospel.  After studying music at Redeemer University, Jeremy recorded and toured as the Songwriter and Leader of the internationally-acclaimed folk vocal trio Isobelle Gunn alongside his wife and his sister.  His song Emily was a Finalist and Honourable Mention with the International Songwriting Competition in 2007 in the Folk/Singer-Songwriter Category.  In 2013, Jeremy released a commissioned work entitled Heidelberg: Songs from the Catechism to critical acclaim, providing corporate worship songs for churches to sing.  While working at the Talbot St. Church in London, Ontario, Jeremy created the Body & Soul Collective and began touring and teaching his songs in the U.S. and Canada. In 2017, Jeremy signed a record and publishing deal with Canada’s largest independent record label True North Records (Bruce Cockburn, Buffy St. Marie, Gordon Lightfoot) and is currently touring and promoting his first acoustic release entitled The Story.  Jeremy is an advocate for local and global poverty and through his latest tour has raised over $250,000 for local and global missions.  His songs have reached the top ten in Christian Radio in Canada and have struck an emotional chord with people of all faiths with the honesty, integrity and hard-hitting,  truth-telling nature of his lyrics.
